It's pretty much hell at the moment stopping tenants doing as they please, I can only imagine things only getting worse.
In regards to the cat & dog urine on carpets I'm not too sure owners will be changing their carpets as often as they do now & can only imagine the standard of the lower end rental market in the next 5 to 10 Years, I for one would be hesitant to replace carpets as often as I do now at around 5 Years between old & new. Have a feeling we could end up with another bottom tier level, of poorly maintained properties, that only the ferals who are content with smelling pet urine will inhabit.
