True we don't know unless we get a location, I can't imagine there is enough uplift bond strength around headers to withstand wind ratings all through Florida given their history.
They may face fix strap brace on the side they batton out for cladding or gyprock?
Just seems best practice would have been some steel in the bond beam tied into tie-down bars to slab. But hey it's not about best practice it's about min standards.
agreed I would need to see the engineering though, as the glue probably has better uplift contact strength than mortar(for a few years) which would be a factor I've not seen.
