I live on east coast , most new houses are rendered brick veneer single and 2 story construction.
Watched a rendered brick veneer construction on waterfront take 6 months to get to lock up.Seemed a very poor approach for such an expensive block of land including pull down of old house.
Byford construction , especially with Mark indicating concrete slab for 2nd floor seems a much better quality solution.I know what I would prefer if offered choice.
IMO a major achievement , proving fastbrick wall block and adhesive system is proving slabs can be layed and blocks manufactured within tolerance.
A major concern raised on this HC site was , it will never work , because you need mortar to overcome variation in slab levels and block manufacture.
