You really need to let some things go, it was about packaging and the packaging looked acceptable. There is absolutely nothing IoT could have put out that would have made you happy. As much as reading these threads will just depress the hell out of a person in the last week we have seen 2 more videos, retail packaging and another still image from that infamous promotional ad which did its job because everyone on here has not stopped talking about so it was good promotion.
On a side note if I had a prototype that I was testing it makes sense to have some protection like a soft landing for the floor and walls in case I programmed something incorrectly you know human error it is real! I am sure that is why they are testing! So you should be happy that they are thinking about it. If they had no protection then I am sure you would be saying how stupid they are for not putting something on the walls and floor. Frankly IoT will not win with you until you buy in.
