today we saw what has been happening for a few weeks now.
as you say, dumping on the closing price on very little volume.
it suggests to me that some stock manipulation is going on here.
Dp yes I agree there is some information that can be gained from this.
trying to tank the price on close to buy up heavy on the open the following day.

however, this is where my theory differs slightly.
they can manipulate the price only so far, at some point they need to buy up shares and in the end this will drive the price up, in my opinion.
the only difference is they get to fleece a few more skittish investors along the way.

this is why I have been banging on about thinking long term with fbr.
alternately you can get fooled into selling your shares if you like, your choice.
I just kind of like it when the retail investor wins against this type of stock manipulation which to me is clear as day.

the only way you can win against traders is by not getting suckers by their shananagins and manipulations. They will beat you every day at the trading game. But they will fail miserably against a true long term investor with an eye for business fundamentals and logic and patience to boot.
