Appoint and direct the Chief Executive
Identify and mitigate corporate risk
Implicit in these roles was that the board sets direction but the Chief Executive delivers on the plan. Boards did not get involved in day-to-day management other than insist on a detailed briefing.
If things weren't progressing when they should be - get a new CEO.
Company's that perform well sweep aside the woke crap and focus on strategy, performance and risk. The woke crap is "attended to" but not allowed to become the primary focus.
Companies that don't perform well get all hung-up on the woke crap and make sure its gold-plated.
How any of this applies to Brainchip - I haven't a clue.
