The saga drags on. > 2 years now, since MLS was first warned re a claim that they never had title to "Mile 72". MLS chose to ignore the Claimant & "believe" that he would go away.

Then renewal time came around May, 2008 & surprise, surprise, no renewal granted. Just excuses by MLS that the Namibian Dept of Mines couldn't get it's act together.

MLS coninued to maintain that there was no other problem with Lease renewal other than an over-worked Dept. MLS specifically stated that they knew of no other Claimant to "Mile 72" / reason for the delay in Tenement renewal.

Then come January, 2009, more "surprise, surprise" - a Writ arrives from the Claimant (who MLS admits is "well connected" taking MLS to Court over Tenement ownership.

MLS claims they have a strong case .... the Case may not even get to Court ....

But it does, again & again. Claim not thrown out; but so much "waffle" (?) that it took 3 days, then later an extra day. Then the Judge retires to consider .....

One to 3 weeks is a typical time for the Judge to reach a verdit?

Well, the 3 weeks is up ...... going by past events, we should neither expect a fast result or even a favourable one ???

& I guess as the Claimant has enjoined the Namibian Govt in his Claim, there is the possibility of going to the International Court - for a few years - if the Judgement is unfavourable .....
