Beam Receives Initial $1m Orders from Major International Reseller
World Reach Limited announced today that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Beam Communications
Pty Ltd, has received a significant order from a major International Reseller based in Europe.
This initial order of satellite equipment with a value in excess of $1m clearly demonstrates the
acceptance of Beam products and continued growth of Beam’s export business into these major
international markets and the diversification of the customer base with exports now representing
well in excess of 50% of overall revenues.
“It is very encouraging that we are now seeing orders of this magnitude from our strategic
international Resellers, with further investment to be made in developing these channels to
market we should see continual growth in export opportunities for the business, “ said Reiny
Gajewski VP Global sales, Beam Communications.
Following the recent divestment of the former Tele-IP’s Network Services Business and the
change of name to World Reach Limited, the company will be totally focused on the Beam
business. It is expected that the proportion of export business will continue to increase, with
more resources being put into this high growth area of the company.
