It was pretty clear just before the cap raise that people who were chasing quick money were hopping into NWC with no real appreciation of the risk/reward and time required.
In fact what I saw reminded/led me to believe some influencers were at work. When I went to the Mining Salect conference. I sat down to eat and it just happened to be next to a good-looking ïnfluencer in her 20's who has no idea. She promoted stocks that someone else she knew, thought were good copper hopefuls.
One was Coda (COD). Now I know the CEO of that Coda. He studied the MSc Mineral Economics with me and is very smart, a lawyer. However, the company is so early stage, I could not invest in it (yet).
I can imagine those sorts of investors getting shaken out. They are out of Coda. NWC is far advanced as a very experienced investors like BaltasarG or Joe Bishop from RCF will tell you.
