I cannot think of a single point at which comparisons of VUL and CPH hold.
CPH is, and always has been, contingent on cowboy trading and quite out-there regulatory whispers, rumours and movements. It's a fringe bet to put it mildly. VUL has the wind at its sails from most standpoints: regulatory approvals (and moreover high level strategic EU direction), EV market, profitability, and the increasing momentum of ESG. Very, very different.
