I have read older posts on HC, you's guys (includes men and women) were talking about conspiracy theories back in early December. End of November was when MLX announced Nifty maintenance and when APAC got a board member. This seems to have triggered something in both companies, MLX and Greentech simultaneous opposite.
Both had SP in lock step until that point as you would expect, afterwards, MLX was forced down while Greentech went ballistic. I thought the drop in MLX was Nifty disappointment, but when you think about it, this action stopped the hemorrhage ie. positive, however the share price dropped "under some pressure".
The effect on Greentech for this announcement should have zero as Nifty only affects MLX, but SP went up... someone big saw an opportunity to gain a huge stake in Renison via Greentech/APAC (HK companies) and a weakening MLX. Koo is a possibility.
MLX shareholder register change lately? Probably by a few avenues to keep names under radar.
