These experts are ridiculous. No one is travelling to Europe for at least a year. This company will probably do pretty much the same thing over again.
also shoes are the best retail sub sector tk be in in my opinion. They’re like hats in some times (people buy them when they have some money to spend and fancify their outfits) and in worse times sales hold up because people need to replace (especially speciality shoes like work boots, runners or skating - not a black street pair to mix it up though). At least that’s how I have and do spend.
so agreed, I think Morgan’s is wrong. I took it into consideration before about a pull forward in demand, but it only took me a day or two to realise that I didn’t agree. If they change their tune end of feb, I will have lost all respect for them. That would be total market manipulation, not just putting out a silly recommendation. I’m not selling.
