aqua - I have read a lot of stuff re ".. fracking very dangerous..." for & against . You report "... 30 trillion gallons of toxic liquid pumped into the ground in US in last couple of decades..."

Question is - for me -- how toxic. The frackers say it is 99 % water & sand & most of the " dangerous chemicals can be found in your kitchen. I seem to remember some years ago fracker drinking nsome of the stuff. I understand frackers do not disclose make up of their brew - trade secret. What % of the fluid is recovered from the well ?

Minor earthqukes are a " oneser " I d have thought only prematurely releasing existing tensions.

Surely experts are working on non toxic fluids / making recovered fluid safe.
What % of recovered fluid is reused in othe wells ? What is the possibility of the fluid pumped several kilometres below ground , ever getting back to surface ?

I was not aware that "....scientific evidence is overwhelming .." I was under the impression that the Gasland movie was wholly discredited,

I don't have any financial or other interest in fracking but have a open mind on the subject - cant see it abandoned without much more research.
