Here's my understand of the release process.

Small bios like Prana generally outsource the analysis. Being small they generally don't have much muscle with the CRO doing the work. ie they have little control on timeline

Headline draft results should be delivered within 4 weeks or so.
There is then to and fro between the company and the CRO.

Unblinding is the first thing done by the statistician when they receive the data package.

As soon as the results are finalised, i.e. after the to and fro, the company MUST report the result or go in to trading halt to report. I believe Prana are totally scrupulous about that.

There is of course a period of time when they know the draft results, but not the final results. This can be days or weeks. It is NOT appropriate to release draft stats to the market.

In summary Prana would not have control. The CRO would hold the data package.

I hope that helps. Perhaps one of the wiser posters here can correct me or fill in gaps.

Now here's a WAG. I doubt Prana received the first draft prior to the recent share issue.
