While on the subject of NZ, I have offered to pay for a holiday there for a "damaged" daughter. It is out of the question to send her on her own so I have offered to pay for her older brother and partner to organise the trip and see no harm comes to her.
Trouble is work commitments dictate June/July as the travel times. For someone who could not ski or partake in any adventure outings, is NZ in winter a good idea? Somehow I doubt it.
I've just thought of a way to describe my daughter without baring her soul: She is independent in familiar surroundings only.
