Just a newbie question - when trading on Commsec, do I need to have funds in my trading account when purchasing and then selling shares even though I made a gain?
Example: I buy $10000 of XYZ shares, then sell them the same day for $12000 (within the T+2 period). Would it still require me to make a deposit of $10000 to which that is deducted then I am provided the $12000?
