Assuming that you will be able to grow a few plants for personal use and NOT to sell, it is all positive. Recreational usage will skyrocket, far outweighing home grown supply, so licensed growers and sellers will be onto big winners. It is only a matter of time until the US federal law comes into line with the expected changes to come in most US states. The inconsistency cannot continue for too long, and then many institutions will be buying large positions into Cannabis stocks. Also the banks will provide finance for the industry.
Follow the money, and check out the second half of 2017 for North American pot stocks. 2018 should easily surpass gains of the previous year.
Many ASX listed stocks will be pulled along by this positive momentum.
