My opinion is that if you are a med/long term investor then you can do no wrong with CVN, no matter what price you enter at. You have a management team (that regardless of the trouble times we are in) are very good at their jobs.
I have been in CVN since 2002, and ever since we got rid of the old board in around 2005 its been one of my portfolios fav performing stocks. CVN have not even scratched the surface of their highly prospective ground in Thailand and the highly anticipated results will play out over the coming decade.
If however you are looking at trading short term, then CVN is not the best speculative bang for your buck.
IMO CVN is easily the best (under $1b mc) oil company listed on the ASX.
