You're still banging on about islanders needing special support. I think you're over-emphasising it. I just don't buy it and it is somewhat insulting to the islander players. ie they are so infantile that they need a nanny to look after them. If they are 16-18, living in Sydney, sure, you might have a case.

But if you're 24, a seasoned international, have not played one game, have not attended one training session, have not had your contract registered - no your new club owes no support. In fact they do have an obligation to condemn your dispicable bahaviour. Perhaps Packer's former club, The Warriors can support him.

Also I don't buy your stereotype of RU players. Have you ever attended a club rugby match in Australia? You won't see many silver spoons. You'll see tradies, farmers, teachers, doctors, students, miners - ie a cross-section of Australian society. Your steroetype is about 40 years out of date.
