I wasn't aware that Newcrest were into geothermal but check this out:

Looking to expand the geothermal setup that powers their Lihir goldmine in PNG. This may not be directly relevant but it adds to my belief that there will be a lot of geothermal drilling work in the Pacific over the next couple of years (PAX, KEN, NCM in Indo, Vanuatu & PNG respectively for starters).

Green Earth are a geothermal co. with a Geelong project that recently recieved their state gov't $25 million grant (announced in '09). So they will be doing some slim wells at some stage too.

Go drill team. May the execution at Tefler be as flawless as DB's wife's jewellery collection..haha
