i heard that newcrest newmont and ashanti are all running the ruler over ayanfuri and thus PRU. large operations like this usually dont make it to production.
this may be one reason for keeping the pfs conservative. because if you come out and say hey we have a 5mtpa operation producing over 250k oz pa and we have another little heap leach doing 50k oz pa and our cash costs are at or below 400 usd you would get gobbled up by a big boy.
