CandidCamera, I usually find rampers (either way) tend to have a credibility problem over time. Rampers can sound very 'balanced' and 'analytical', when all they are doing is trying, in their own little way or as part of a bigger plan, to manipulate investors.
On 16/2 you wrote "I’ll be out by then (by 30 June, hallelujah!) when I will sell my remaining shares and get this anchor off my books. That’s the only value I now place on AZY – reducing my tax bill."....
Today you wrote (20/2) " ..... I started trading my shares (i.e selling on the spike and buying the same number back on the inevitable drop a day later). I wasn't negative, so I maintained my original number of shares (10m). I just thought there was another way to make money from the stock rather than simply "hold and hope .... So AZY has been profitable for me"
So which is? Are you after the tax loss or has AZY been profitable for you!
