You're getting confused between cash (4c's) and P&L revenue/profit. We were trying to determine if the quarter was cashflow positive or not, when allowing for potential restatement of 4C's.
It's a different calculation from profit/loss which you are referring to, and would include release of prior period deferred revenue, adjustments for accrued expenses etc.
