If you read the Australian instead of the comics in the Fairfax rags, you would know that, and not bark on like Pavlovian dogs without either knowing the author or having read the column.
BTW Newman is quite right. The legacy of the takeover by the left of the Liberals is that more like minded people will be squeezed into pre-selection at the expense of conservative Liberals. The consequence will be a massive fracturing of the vote of the centre right.
I believe that unless the incumbent dud is removed, the Liberals will see polling in the 20s in the very near future as supporters walk.
