I'm holding onto NEWMONT (My ex. NDY) for the long term - up 9.8% over the last 5 sessions and Volumes up considerably... Also to note that over the past week has outperformed the other big goldies viz. NYSE: ABX, PDG, AU.
Also I'd say the US market is happy with the ASX:nemX4.4 being offered to NFY minorities. With cost efficiencies, rise in POG (87% unhedged) "owning" the Tanami etc. I think you'll really see Newmont outperform the other biggies in the sector over the next year.
