Hello
In recent Crux investor webinar David Mason said, 15:50 minutes see youtube at the end
"We found Argentinian jurisdiction got a little bit difficult about 2019,
so we saw a really good reason for expanding outside of Argentina
into other jurisdiction focusing on gold, so we moved into Northern Europe.."
Later he claims that jurisdiction got better 2020.
There appears not to be explanation why jurisdiction with Argentina gold projects
got problems 2019 so there was a really good reason to look for better places.
Possibly you would know bellow are some links about factors in Argentina.
There is a repeating pattern of mining accidents, protests and environmental problems,
which a responsible investor should know
1) General opinion about mining after bad projects
Most recently Argentinian president Alberto Fernandez was attacked by
protesters against plans to resume open-pit mining in Chubut Province in Patagonia.

2) Local bans of ope pits and megamining

Several provinces have already banned open pit mining mining and gold cyanidation.

3) Coexistence with uranium

4) Issues with native people

5) The glacier mining law 2010, a bill to ban mining and oil extraction around the country’s Andean glaciers, a move seen curtailing investment in the mineral-rich nation

There were issues with this law in Veladero San Juan province, close to which Newpeaks's Las Openas is said to be
It is said to be reason why Chinese got (part of?) Barrick´s Veladero project
