It is an interesting point as there is the possibility that the business models of elec dist companies will fold and then what? Re nationalised??. Makes selling now more attractive
Lots to consider - Storage will disrupt revenues but EV charging may fill the hole. The simple fact is dist relies on elec transportation to generate revenues, even if someone perfects P2P energy trading the owner of the poles and wires gets paid it's the Retailer who's in trouble!
