The new 'big boys' joining via the placement are now, on paper, under water.

You're right that in years ahead, you'd probably barely notice the latest dip. The daily movements then would probably be commonly in the tens of cents or dollars, rather than in the half a cent or so we're use to now.

SP was consolidating around these levels before the milestone VA and DOD announcements, so let's hope it does so again, before some sense returns to the market.
