In the last minute of the recent vox interview Neil notes they are bringing some cutting edge technology to look at where those pegmatites might be buried when they are not obvious at surface. The team are busy working on this at the moment with some news on this later in the year.
I thought this sounded a lot like Core's trial with Fleet Space Technologies. The article below notes that Fleet Space Technologies is deploying their technology in Ghana, but it references the region as Oti Region (which is inland and the map has the town Wawaso which is near the Ghana / Togo border). I'm not sure if it's a coincidence or not, but Neil noted deployment of a technology that sounded a lot like Fleet Space Technologies. Fleet Space Technologies notes deployment in Ghana (12 Jan 2023). Perhaps Fleet Space Technologies has a trial in more than one Ghanian location.
Some further background on what this technology is and how it works can be found as part of Core's 1 August 2022 announcement they noted an Ambient Noise Tomography (ANT) Geophysical trial. It basically involves placing an array of geodes onto the ground in a particular area. They map ground vibrations and send results up to a satellite network. Through clever software a map of the underground features is created quickly. 4 days is noted as a possible turnaround time. Core tested it using BP33. Through drilling Core had a good idea of the 3D shape of this pegmatite (except for open zones) and the technology showed an excellent correlation with the pegmatite body. The technology isn't going to tell you if pegmatites are lithium bearing, but it should give you some idea of the underground shape of Pegmatites (very useful in target selection and drilling angles). The process appeared to identify some new targets for Core that didn't have surface expression (again super useful). Core liked the results enough that they signed further contracts and are rolling it out across their tenements. If Atlantic is experimenting with either this technology from Fleet Space Technologies or another similar technology from another outfit that may assist resource expansion.
