The risk with LLL is much higher imo. Mali does not rate as highly as Ghana for geopolitical risk according to a UK trade website I referred to. From memory the spod has to pass through 2 other countries to get to the port over a distance exceeding1000 km from memory.

I believe Wagner mercenaries are present in Mali. They're in bed with the Chinese too in a dodgy jurisdiction.

I was tempted to take a short term punt on Leo but what happened to AVZ made me reconsider.

I think the above are some of the reasons why Leo under performed for so long and may not achieve the valuation metrics of other less risky producers.
