When spod prices were at USD900+/t, we were selling at $880. MC said he didn't mind having a fixed price at a slightly lower that market rate to secure the offtake. When prices dropped below $880, the offtake terms were renegotiated to market rate with a floor price. When prices drop below the floor price, we sell them below the floor price anyway.
Heads I win, tails you lose.
whoever that did this price negotiation certainly did a very terrible job.
