Aug 28 (Reuters) - Australian cement maker Adelaide Brighton (ABC) posted a 35% drop in half-year profit on Wednesday, hurt by weakness in the construction sector and higher raw material costs.
Underlying net profit after tax was A$55.3 million ($37.35 million) for the six months to June 30, compared with A$85.2 million a year ago. ($1 = 1.4806 Australian dollars)
