News: ABC Australia's Adelaide Brighton flags lower FY earnings on soft construction market

July 31 (Reuters) - Australian cement manufacturer Adelaide Brighton Ltd (ABC) said on Wednesday it expects weaker annual earnings due to further softening of conditions in the residential and civil construction markets.

The company expects underlying NPAT of A$120 million ($82.5 million) to A$130 million for the year ended Dec. 31, it said in a statement, also citing continued competitive pressure in Queensland and South Australia and softening order volumes in Victoria.
