If you think that's how business is done in Asia then you have no idea. They will not bow to Tony Abbott, regardless of any threat about aid. They will tell him to get stuffed.
And please stop referring to the "School Hall's" program, they were mostly CLASSSROOMS that were badly needed and if you were truthful some of you would admit that you have children or grandchildren enjoying them to learn in. They have wonderful interactive whiteboard computerised screens, and are wonderful spaces, they are better insulated against the heat and cold. So tell the poor kids and teachers that had to endure the terrible conditions in old classrooms and demountables that they were a waste of money.
The overwhelming majority of people that use them would say not. Try rolling out that sort of construction on that scale in a few years and you would be glad it's already done. Try not bagging just to score a few points.
