LP, no I am not "connected" with the Company. I didn't know management personally before I invested. Found them through Fat Prophets back in 2013 or 14 and kept an eye on them. Any shareholder can ring management, and I do so from time to time. I went to the effort of meeting them at one of those investor conferences back in 2018. I guess it helps that I own a few shares.
As for your two points above, I'm sure they are working on them, although I must admit I'm not sure what it takes to have the resource declared to be "ionic", nor how much work that would take.
