Oct 3 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers, acquisitions and disposals were reported by 1330 GMT on Tuesday:
** Krispy Kreme DNUT.O is exploring options for its Insomnia Cookies unit including a sale, the company said onTuesday, as it renews its focus on its main business of selling doughnuts.
** Eli Lilly and Co LLY.N will buy Point Biopharma Global PNT.O for $1.4 billion, the companies said on Tuesday,gaining access to experimental therapies that enable precise targeting of cancer.
** Canadian investment firm Brookfield BN.TO is buying the renewable energy division of Banks Group, the UK-based firm, whose businesses also include mining and transport, said.
** French technology company Vantiva VANTI.PA said it struck a deal to buy U.S. network infrastructure provider CommScope's COMM.O Home Networks division in exchange for a 25% stake in Vantiva.
** Australia's Computershare (CPU) said it was selling its U.S. mortgage services arm to asset manager Rithm Capital RITM.N for $720 million, as the share registry company aims to focus on its core businesses.
** Australia's competition watchdog said Australian Clinical Labs' (ACL) proposed buyout of medical centre operator Healius (HLS) would require it to divest its approved collection centres across the country.
** Boaz Weinstein's coalition has sweetened its offer for hedge fund firm Sculptor Capital Management SCU.N , the Wall Street Journal reported on Monday, citing people familiar with the matter.
