Cement and lime producer Adelaide Brighton Ltd (ASX:ABC) has resolved some of the uncertainty surrounding its major supply contracts.

The company says it has signed a deal to supply its main lime customer, a major alumina producer, in Western Australia.

The deal is effective from July 1 next year and will cover supply for the next five years.

The company's next lime contract is due for renewal in 2014.

For the half year ended 30 June 2010, Adelaide Brighton reported a net profit of $69 million.
