I wonder who did the DD on Mt Carlton: how much did a third party do and how much did NML do (technical, commercial, legal, environmental). A recommendation would have been made to the board, and I assume to shareholders.
2 years is pretty quick for a demise IMO - must have been something serious missed in the DD, or a "bold" decision against a recommendation (which is generally not common).
