News: Advanced Surgical Design & Manufacture in trading halt

Advanced Surgical Design & Manufacture (ASX:AMT) will be placed in a trading halt at the request of the company, pending the release of an announcement.

Trading will remain halted until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Monday, 3rd November 2014 or when the announcement is released to the market.

The company designs, engineers and manufacturers medical devices including prosthetic implant tools. AMT's principal product is the Active Total Knee, and also distributes Orthofix Spinal Implants.

Other products in the company’s portfolio include the Arthrosurface and Parcus Medical implantable orthopaedic devices, accessories and surgical instruments.
