Indeed, very true. im inclined to pay for active management where warranted. That said, other more established and quite successful micro cap funds on my humble retail radar, specifically OC Micro-cap charges only 1.20% pa with a very good longer term track record.
AEF Em Co fund wholesale class has a similar 1.2ish % from memory.
