News: AGI Ainsworth Game Technology expects H12017 pre-tax profit to be approximately $15 mln, page-2

Interesting announcement. On face value, not good. But I'm calling AGI a BUY at this point. Why? We've all heard the mantra "be fearful when others are greedy and greedy when others are fearful". We buy shares not based on past earnings or current earnings but for future earnings. Today, the Company's outlook statement stated it expects 2H FY17 to show significant improvement in the Company’s net profit before tax excluding currency impacts as compared to 2H FY16. In addition, anticipated synergy benefits arising from the relationship with Novomatic are yet to be realised and are expected to be realised in 2HFY17. I'm calling AGI a BUY! ​
