i must admit i agree with crazypunter about trump. he will say anything. he was complimentary towards obama and clinton today and backtracking on the mexico wall and saying healthcare will be even better under him. journo's and greeder investors want to believe he will stimulate growth and aussies are mistakenly thinking it will benefit the asx but im not convinced.

having said that, i dont understand the short interest either but i bailed out of agi at a stop loss at 1.80 a while back.

i would like to buy back in once the sentiment and technicals turn upwards but i fear it may go lower between now and the next company update.

the points above about the advantages of a strong us dollar and a pro-business govt are completely valid, but with negative earnings momentum and domestic woes and shorters combined, i think the sp will struggle short term.

might look to buy back in before h2 update at a lower price, or if it gets down to 1.60
