perhaps it is just a case of no news... is boring.
Other than confirming targets will be hit back in October - the only news to market has been the APA gas pipeline renewal - similar volumes and cost - so basically business as usual.
Recent share buy back activity has eased since January - so maybe they needed to let it cool a while as prices had been going up
Share buy back increases interest costs... but also EPS... I would rather they do something more with the capital - more direct investment in pumped hydro or long term PPA battery storage would be my call.
Will be interesting to see what the Southern Phone business adds to the portfolio $28m is peanuts... but it gets them the entry to market that they failed doing with the VOC approach.
Expect next round of results to show good cash flow and generation to be in line with expectations
