If you haven't realised AGL and EA are closing their coal power plants ahead of schedule so of course we will be running out smelters without coal.
Further, Bell Bay Aluminium smelter is an Australian 100% renewable powered and is sunmetals Zinc smelter and Nyrstar Zinc smelter.
Tomago have already committed to being 100% renewable powered.
