Much more sensible but pretty light modelling as the author hinted.
Some advice on those wind profiles though baldy, before you make investment decisions look at what they don't tell you.
The wind speed profile doesn't tell you what the actual speed is. You may assume the maximum speed shown equates to maximum output. What if it doesn't? If the speed shown is 80% of that required for 100% the output will be 36%.
The dip shown will be a speed that is around 30 percent of that required for rated output. Actual output will be around 8%.
I just find the presentation could be very misleading and you should chase info that says what the wind speed for rated output is and overlay it on the profile.
That will give a far more transparent view of expected output.
