Christos Quote: If I tried I could find another 5GW of projects with all their approvals.

So I asked where they are, please list, you can't find them because they don't exist and you are basically speaking BS.

Note the following article from renew economy, renowned for being over optimist with regards to renewable energy, but also provide a lot of useful information.

Australia's biggest states have set stunning renewable plans. Now we need a national strategy |
    RenewEconomy
What this article says is in complete agreement with what I am saying, we have all the eastern states committing to large windfarms without any coordination, the supply chains wont keep up and we need a national plan, which of course will delay some.

Where the article fails is it mentions we can make surfboards, why cant we make turbine blades, a fair jump in the technology, quantity and quality I am afraid.

Quotes from the article in bold.If we install 31GW of wind, that equates to about 5100 turbines or, say, 400 turbines a year. If they were coming from two suppliers, each of whom could see a guaranteed 200 turbines a year then an attractive price, whole of life maintenance and the financial future of the supplier could be managed. So we have to average the manufacturing and installation of a turbine in under day to reach the target. Even if we could do this simultaneously over 10 sites it means the manufacturer and install one every 9 days at each site. Absolutely will not happen. Mentioning expanding factories to cope, supply and deliver, who would pay for this enormous over capacity? And remember that's 1200 of 100 metre long blades per year.

Looking at wind, there is 6000MW more or less committed. We include both stages of Golden Plains in that (1400-1500MW in total) with far superior economics to offshore wind.

Our definition of committed is generous for this note. It includes projects like Kogan West where there is announced support from the Queensland government, but no notice to proceed has been issued. Similarly, Uungula has a PPA from Snowy but no notice to proceed.
It appears I am not the only one with this "opinion". As stated, Golden Plains will still be in construction phase until 2051 so exactly how many of those turbines will be operational in 2035, hence the comment that the allowance for commitment is "generous", as they are fully aware that it will not be completed by 2035. And also projects that are supposed to be proceeding are delayed, only adding to the shortage,
