You really are confused if you think future tech is about virtue signalling and being 'woke'. I think it's time for you to go back to school, as I'm not going to try to educate you on the differences for a second time.
A corporate strategy is not 'word salad'; it is exactly what the companies (including the one I work for) are aiming to achieve. My company, for example made it part of its strategy to get right into the renewable energy space. We are already there now, and making big dollars from the opportunity. I don't want to mention the company, but we are one of the global leaders in Hydrogen and are actively involved in the green hydrogen trials in Aus and abroad. There is absolutely no reason why AGL could not achieve the same success in BESS and renewable generation. If they 'give you the company'.. It will disappear into the abyss. On that, I'm quite confident.
