    Sorry I have not been on the forums frequently and not answered much questions. Busy with life.

    So according to you, would it be fairer to say OPEX for gas plant is mainly cost of gas + general maintenance? And BESS is cost of electricity + replacement batteries + general maintenance? If we assume general maintenance to be the same, then the equivalent of gas OPEX for batteries is replacement cost + cost of electricity?

    Cost of gas to generate electricity <=equivalent to=> BESS replacement batteries + cost of electricity it buys from grid.

    Let's see how it turns out.
