No. General maintenance of BESS is far, far less than gas.
Replacement batteries? Every 20 years, which is similar to the major overhaul of the gas turbine.
BESS is far more lucrative that CCGT, hence why everyone wants to build a BESS and no-one wants to build a gas plant.The revenue for gas plants is also negligible. You can read the ORG half yearly to see that.
