$3Million pre Megawatt. No mention of the storage capacity duration, maybe 1hr based on Hornsdale SA
Dispatchable gas turbines less than $1Million per MW. Can run indefinitely, Also provide real mechanical inertia, whereas Battery also requires a synchronous condensor to be safe to use, die to limited fault current capacity.
Batteries have very limited life, depending on depth of discharge and a few other parameters.
This is no bargain that's for sure.
